"If you meet the Buddha, kill the Buddha. If you meet your father, kill your father. Free of everything, you are bound by nothing. Live your life as it is given to you."

"Trust but verify; and don't be afraid to see what you see." Ronald Reagan

"Work like you don't need the money, love like you've never been hurt and dance like nobody's watching." Irish Saying

"The men of Normandy had faith that what they were doing was right, faith that they fought for all humanity, faith that a just God would grant them mercy on this beachhead or the next. It was the deep knowledge -- and pray God we have not lost it -- that there is a profound moral difference between the use of force for liberation and the use of force for conquest. " -- Ronald Reagan

"We're Americans, with a capital A. Do you know what that means? That means that our forefathers were kicked out of every decent country in the world. We are the wretched refuse. We're underdogs. We're mutts. Here's proof (touches a soldier's nose) His nose is cold. But there's no animal that's more faithful, that's more loyal, that's more lovable than the mutt. Who saw Old Yeller? Who cried when Old Yeller got shot at the end? I cried my eyes out. So we're all dog faces. We're all very, very different. But there is one thing that we all have in common: we were all stupid enough to enlist in the army." -- Stripes (1981)

"Sometimes when I reflect on all the beer I drink, I feel ashamed. Then I look into the glass and think about the workers in the brewery and all of their hopes and dreams. If I didn't drink this beer, they might be out of work and their dreams would be shattered. I think, "It is better to drink this beer and let their dreams come true than be selfish and worry about my liver."
-- Babe Ruth

"I wil not rest until I have you holding a Coke wearing your own shoe playing a Sega game featuring you while signing your own song in a new commercial starring you broadcast during the SuperBowl in a game that you are winning and I will not sleep until that happens...I'll give you 15 minutes to call me back." --- Jerry Maguire

"Something strange happened to me this morning."

"Was it a dream where you see yourself standing in sort of sun-god robes on a pyramid with a thousand naked women screaming and throwing little pickles at you?"

"No."

"Why am I the only person that has that dream?"

"What in the name of Jumanji is going on here?" -Space Ghost

And what was it...something from Gene Starwind in Outlaw Star....something like "You evil cactus mutant! YOU were behind all of this!". :P

Let's see...just about anything Agent Smith in The Matrix says....I dunno, I can't really think of any meaningful quotes really for this thread, off of the top of my head except for perhaps "Absolute Power courrupts absolutely." (Lord Acton) but everyone knows that one.

If there is any principle of the Constitution that more imperatively calls for attachment than any other it is the principle of free thought -- not free thought for those who agree with us but freedom for the thought that we hate.
-- Justice Oliver Wendell Holmes, Jr.
