MAME users - I need a keyboard.cfg file

Yes. I used the one one Zophar's and then even got the one from there. All files are the same, error is still present.

For now, I guess I'm going to just go get one of the older versions...

Actually, how about you delete EVERYTHING in your MAME folder except for your ROMs, then unzip the MAME 0.86 zip into the directory, and then tell me if the problem still occurs. There's not a single reason why it should, I just tried MAME 0.86 in a new directory and had no problems. <img src=smilies/banghead.gif>

Well, we have success it seems. I guess I shouldn't have transfered all those folders when trying it again. Just the basic roms... I'll have to reconfig things, but I'm back on track.

Note: I figured out what it must be: The old INI files for the individual games. I did salvage the NVRAM folder though. That helps with some games.

Yeah, that'd be exactly what it was, due to the new input system you have to delete all of your CFG and INI files. <img src=smilies/cwm11.gif>
