Default Problems running emulators

I have a problem running NES and SNES emulators. The game and music stutter every few seconds. How can I get the games to play smoothly?

Buy a computer that's less than 10 years old. You should be able to find a suitable machine for NES and SNES emulation for around $10.

His machine could also be malware infested up the ass.

I'd help if he told us some specs though.

(although with some emulators I get the occasional stutter, and I've got a modern gaming rig, mainly due to poor handling of an emulated machine with video that runs at 60.1Hz running on a 60Hz display)
