XDELTA is a patching format, similar to but different from IPS, UPS or Ninja. IPS is unable to handle file sizes bigger than 2MB, so XDELTA is a popular alternative when patching CD images. (Ninja and UPS may be better in some instances but they haven't been around as long as XDELTA, so they haven't gained the same level of popularity.)

This site doesn't appear to host XDELTA but if you Google for it, the very first hit will be the official development site, which includes downloads. (And the fourth or so hit will be the Wikipedia page, if you're interested in more information about the format.)
