I like these pictures. They load fast, and they show what has to be shown.

Why would anyone care about the resolution I'm using??

Hi! Can anyone give me instructions for making the hack version??? I read all in the file but its not working!!! Please help!!!

Soushkin 11-25-2008 01:11 PM

It works fine if you have the OoT Debug ROM. I suggest you search for it via Google.

Other than that it's quite easy, just read the instructions.

First off, new version to address bugs can be found in the first post of this topic.

New addition to the instructions for those not similar with ppf-o-matic :

Note: When choosing the ROM in ppf-o-matic, please change the Files of Type
drop down list from CD Images to All Files (*.*) in order to have the ROM

Also added quick ROM setting for those who don't wanna sift though the settings web page:

The main ROM settings that will need changed to get the Debug ROM running are:

8 Megs or Expansion Pak = Yes
Use TLB = No
DMA in Segments = No

Not all emulators will have all settings, for more details please see:

Other than that, Jabo 1.6 and Jabo 1.7 are the easiest video pluggins for this, other pluggins work fine but might require configuration.

Hope that helps.

I'll take some screenshots of what I'm talking about, and I'm only five minutes into the game.

Everyone knows what I'm supposed to do with this block.

After I've pushed the block, I get stuck. Link can't jump over this:

Solution 1: Backflip over it.

Solution 2: Leave some space between the pushing block and the other blocks. This will allow Link to jump over the block.

Room = Fail.

Second thing where I get stuck:

Behind this wall is an iron Knuckle.

Attack the green zone to get the Iron Knuckle to attack you, and break the wall so you can pass to the next room.

Hey, Iron Knuckle, thx for breaking the wall. Since I can't fight you now, I'll just run passed you to get to the next room.

Iron Knuckle = Fail.

Once you leave the room behind the Iron Knuckle and get back to the previous room (with the Iron Knuckle) you'll get stuck behind the wall the Iron Knuckle had to break for you.

Only possible solution: Attack the Iron Knuckle, from such a close range he will kill you in just one hit. So the solution is to die. That's a great way to solve a "puzzle".

You solved those puzzles almost exactly how I designed them, except the Iron Knuckle where you are supposed to jump over using the pillar. I myself thought that the puzzles made new use of things from older versions of OoT, but I will let you decide.

ok, but where are these main rom setings?

nobodys_friend 11-26-2008 05:44 PM

The ROM settings are found different places on different emulators. In 1964, and Project 64 they are found by right clicking on the ROM. In Nemu, it's on the regular menu.

Yeah, thanks a lot! But there´s one question.... I found this setings but wheres this ˝use TLB=no, DMA in segments=no˝? And how to put a rom list on project 64? I dont know how!

how to put this game so in the emulator?
