64th Note plugin causes Winamp to freeze during shutdown
Hi, I'm new here and I need a bit of help with the 64th Note plugin for Winamp. I had recently upgraded to Windows 7 and Winamp 5.572 was working fine as usual. But whenever I try to shut down the computer and Winamp is still open, the following error message appears:
http://img714.imageshack.us/img714/2454/tempb.jpg Of course, this freezes the shutdown procedure, which can be extremely annoying. It also means I have to remember to close Winamp manually before shutting down, which is equally annoying. I tried downgrading 64th Note to version 1.1 and running Winamp in compatibility mode for Windows XP or Vista, but that damn error message still appears. Does anyone know a fix for this? Ta for your help. |
Are you using the latest version of 64th note? If so, then it's probably a bug, and there's no fix other than getting the hcs to fix it. He's on IRC, so I'll talk to him about it.
On another note, people actually shut down their machines? :o |
Yes, I am using the latest 64th note (version 1.2 beta). I appreciate you talking to the hcs about the problem. Please let me know if he can release a fix.

Hmm...on this box (with 7 of course) it does not crash when I close Winamp while playing a song, though I can't test shutting it down right now.
