I have to play with this thing to see how it works. when nintendo said they were changing things, they sure weren't kidding.

IGN has an article describing how it works: http://cube.ign.com/articles/651/651275p1.html

discuss.

It was leaked, but I didn't realize it at the time. Last week, someone posted images of it on 4chan, but I chalked it up as another fake. Needless to say, it looks pretty win. The fact that it's modular means developers can do whatever they want with it. The only thing I'm concerned about is whether or not it looks comfortable to hold. I don't like holding the TV remote, so I'm unsure how this will be.

Discuss? Thats bullshit.

How the crap can that thing POSSIBLY be comfortable? I mean jeesus...

And I was pretty damn pumped for their new system before this retarted controller came around.

I'll wait for the PS2 Dualshock/Xbox/Xbox360 to Revolution adaptor to come out before I buy a Revo.

No thanks.

Turn the main module (with the dpad) sideways.

Look familiar?

Cock goes where?

Seriously, though. Sony got controller design right with the Playstation (II) dual shock controller. Just pay Sony their royalties and use their fucking design. I mean come on, Nintendo. What is this shit?

Parts. How cool. A wireless controler with hookups and wires!

don't you think there's ANY room for innovation? the ps controller only a refined SNES controller anyway. aren't you at least interested to play games in a different way?

Nope. A man and his controller is a sacred thing.

The PS controller just fits into the palms of my hands. The buttons are all in easy reach. Even the analog sticks are easy to use. Why fix what they got right so long ago? This just looks like more garbage from a generation of consoles trying to hard to fit in with the home decor. My hands are cramping just looking at that.

As long as they keep pushing out innovative games, though, I really can't complain too much.

Re: Let's talk about the Revolution controller

the ps controller is hardly perfection. the left analog stick is uncomfortable to me. it deserves to be in home position, like gamecube and xbox.

i think the real issue is that you greatly fear change. games have been dead stagnant for the last decade. i, for one, welcome some bit of life in the industry. if the revolution can bring this to me, hats off to nintendo.

besides. my favorite current gen games are hardly even traditional games. animal crossing, anyone?
