MAME for Nintendo DS?
 

Is there a MAME emulator for the Nintendo DS? Or is there a GBA Flash Card thing where I can play games from MAME or other arcade emulators on it? Also, it said there was an NES emulator for the DS. How do I make that work? What do I need?

I've never seen one, but you could try MaracaDS. It supports some older games, some with sound and some without (for example, was playing Pac Man on it the other day). There is a NES emulator for DS also.

The NDS file (use the one listed as "07/12/2008"), some ROMs, a DLDI Patcher to patch the NDS, and the DLDI patch for your flash cart (to let it access the SD card in your flashcart, assuming you have one that isn't super old),and your flashcart.

Put the ROM files on your SD card, start the emulator, navigate to them and load it. That's about it. If you have a flashcart that doesn't have an SD card or something such as that, it is more complicated, so be sure to mention if you have one of those.

We keep a copy of the file here too, in case that site goes down.

Oh man, somebody should make a step by step tutorial of how to do all that.

i have played with it on a few games and it is amazingly good.

Since MAME can play neo geo games, i figured this would be good to include as well.
