Good thing too. It sounds like the author ripped off stuff from a couple of things.... I'll get back to you when I can remember exactly where I've heard a couple of those melodies.

Alright, starting with the beginning. Did you see the LOTR movie? Check out the soundtrack. Track 14, titled "Lothlorien" is where the beginning came from. If you've just seen the movie, I think they play it when you see the Elf city for the first time.
