Highly Experimental Plugin keeps crashing winamp
 

Everytime a psx song finishes playing when it should advance to the next song i get the "winamp has encountered a problem and needs to close" message. anybody kno how to fix this? frustrating the hell outta me.

Being as you stated it's a Highly experimental.....

Maybe you could provide some more info like what version winamp you are using, what the plug-in is...

Well, the plugin is called "Highly Experimental" :)
You can play .psf files in Winamp using that plugin.

It shouldn't be crashing Winamp though, it works fine for me.
So maybe something is wrong with original poster's system or Winamp.

What output plugin are you using? Try the other one. Are you using the latest version of HE (2.09)?

If you're using Vista...well, there's the problem right there.

oh yeah, because it's ALWAYS Vista's fault *rolls eyes*

^^^^i refused to get vista for all the bugs, compatibility issues, etc.

Well it doesnt do it all the time. I got it playing now and it works fine. I can't seem to figure out whats different now from the times it kept "encountering problems." Havent changed any settings.

Thx 4 the responses. So i kno the plugin works and im highly doubtful it has anything to do with my system. But on the same topic, anybody use the Yamp plugin? That one always crashed winamp too so i got the in_gens plugin. they say yamps the best tho so i was curious as to if it crashed anybody elses.

I know of nothing other than AudioOverload when it comes to Game music, I do not remember if it supported Psx audio's, but whenever this failed, I just find something in the top 3 results of google,

I've only had to done that once though.

Suggest somethiong better if you want, but I actually like this program.
