Majora's Mask

What's up.

I'm playing Majora's Mask using Project64 and I've been trying to get a good combination of plugins to use with it.

Any suggestions on what worked best for you guys?

Audio, just whatever you have...seriously.

Graphics, I just about always use Rice's Video Plug-in. (if you enable the 'blur' framebuffer effects, ie like the intro where the Mask is seen, don't expect it to be fast though...because it's not. At all. Btw, that's why if it's disabled you'll see black in the spot where Link turns into a Deku Scrub with all the Dekus running around, because the effect is disabled).

Controller, the best way to play is with an Adaptoid and the Adaptoid plug-in. I think it's a pain to map an N64 controller onto a PC controller personally. :)

Is the Adaptoid sold anywhere (except eBay) anymore?

Or you could build a parallel port adapter, though you'll pay just as much (if not more) as an adaptoid for the parts----I had a tough time finding the necessary CMOS chips. Now I just wish I could figure out how to wire the analog stick to hook up to my hacked Xbox controllers.

Unfortunately I don't think so..I was probably lucky to get one when I did...if they still sold 'em I'd buy another probably, for playing Robotron 64 with (two joysticks rules on that game...it's the only way to play).

I hear the XBox 360 controller is the best one you can get for the PC. I haven't tried it myself, I use a Logitech rumblepad.
