Question about PCSX2

Whenever I try to play a game the emulator crashes on me and the problem seems to be DEP. When I select the image that I want to play the emulator crashes and tells me that a progam has caused the program to stop working correctly. Then the little bubble appears on the bottom right hand corner telling me that DEP has stopped PCSX2 fom running. When I try to disable DEP for PCSX2 I keep getting message telling me that PCSX2 must run with DEP enabled.

That's strange. My computer has never complained about DEP when running PCSX2. What OS are you running? I've got XP Service Pack 3 over here.

If you go to System in the Control Panel, then the Advanced tab, then click on Settings, you can go to the Data Execution Prevention tab (at least this is how you get there on XP...Vista may be different). What are your settings there?

Nevermind, I changed my CDRom configuration to a different plug in and now it works.. hardly works. E6420 renders this emulator to play games at 20-25 frames per second =[ I need an upgrade

Yeah, you need a hell of a system for PS2 emulation. :)
