Emulation Scene

Hi

I will like to ask your comments on which are the best places to be updated about the Emulation Scene.

Checking on Google I had found EmuCR: http://www.emucr.com/
Which does a good effort to post news about emulators, but please let me know which other places are working for you.

Regards

Try http://www.zophar.net/ it dominates the emulation scene and Google results.

Really :)

I really want to reach out and see where the developers post the news about their latest emulators release. And also try to find where is discussion about emulation is happening.

hello !!

it's incredible you forgot the best site on the net for Emulation scene !

http://www.emu-france.com

we have a dedicated server and we keep all projects , all emulators for 15 years, it means all emulated systems !

we update news daily. We work a lot to be the most complete site dedicated to emulators on the net.

we just added a "google tool" to translate the site some days ago.

Martini, do you agree for a partnership ? :inlove: you can get a banner here >>> http://ashura.altervista.org

Sidenote: it is very strange that when you post links it does not show correctly. I tried both ways that you used in your message and it works for me. Maybe it has to be with something related that it is your first post, and maybe it get enable after some more posts (anti-spam tool). Let me check with the staff.

Hi GreatXerox, it is nice to meet you.

Are you the webmaster/newmaster of http://www.emu-france.com ? I also noticed that your site is very good. Sadly I do not have a good understanding of the french language :)

I'm interested on all partnership and alliance we can do to help a little bit the emulation scene. Currently It will be interesting to check the details of cooperation so I can discuss it with the rest of the Zophar's Domain staff.

Currently I'm trying to bring more life to Zophar's domain webpage by providing some news from time to time, but I still need some more manpower to update the news and to have more clarity of the emulation scene.

I have this problem from time to time updating the news:

There are several emulators that get updated and are non-official, and I can not found the direct source of it. There are several site that likes to host files without telling the source of where original the developer posted the files. So I'm not sure of the source of some files that are turned into news.

But changing to the main subject, I'm really like to see if we can work out something for the emulation scene.

Regards

Links do not become embedded for users until they have made 5 posts. See: "Changes to forums and subdomains over the weekend" from July 2012, bullet point #5.

you should use Emu-france, we always try to put the good link with the good source. I even put the exact topic of beta releases when it's possible.

Zophar's domain was near dead but i noticed it revived since you are there. Back in time, I used it a lot for various music collections. Zophar helped us a lot to find old emulators.

i like partnership using RSS feed. it's a good way to grow up the number of visitors and it makes the partner more active.

we can complete each other using RSS feed. Emu-France posts emulation news before Zophar so it should be useless you post news to updated releases of emulators.

I think the best way should be to create a frame using our RSS feed for emulators news (with Google translate tool FR > ENG), and you can concentrate your work on other things (collections, articles on authors, i don't know, using also a RSS feed we can show in our RSS window on the top right on our site).

i mean we should use our specificities without to be redundant.

what do you think about this ?
