Is there a way to make Jnes support the mapper #226 ?

Not that I know of. But unless you really need to be using Jnes, try Nestopia. It's a lot more accurate and the readme file states it has at least partial support for mapper #226.

what would use mapper 226?

Also try Nintendulator. It's supposedly the most accurate emulator out there. You'll need a pretty powerful CPU to run it though, just a heads up.

actually according to the site, the mapper is supported.

Just tried Nestopia, very nice. I knew about the emu, but I though that my PC wouldn't be enough, and the pictures or the sounds would be "flickering".

This is debatable. NEStopia has kept up with recent findings including very esoteric special case behavior, whereas Nintendulator never implimented some special case behavior and has grown stale due to inactivity. NEStopia passes many test ROMs that Nintendulator fails. Not to mention it supports more mappers and input devices and is still being regularly updated.

These days... if I had to put money on one emu being more accurate than the other, I'd put my money on NEStopia.
