Disappointment in games or movies
Movies
------- Dreamcatcher (The book was so awesome, but the movie sucked) Batman Forever Batman & Romin Games ------ Final Fantasy VIII Legend Of Zelda - Majora's Mask What about you ? |
Unlimited Saga
Children of Mana Final Fantasy Tactics Advance (I did like it, but it was a disappointment.) Chrono Cross Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (It existing disappoints me.) Burn After Reading Also, hi forums! =o |
Games:
Burnout Revenge (loved Burnout 3: Takedown, but thought this one sucked) Super Mario Sunshine (not as good as Super Mario 64, haven't tried Super Mario Galaxy yet) Super Smash Bros. Brawl (it was good, just not as awesome as Super Smash Bros. Melee) Final Fantasy VII (bleh) Sonic Heroes (the game that soured me against Sonic Team for years to come) Movies: Signs (I don't care what Roger Ebert thinks, the ending ruined it for me) Die Another Day (James Bond is not MacGyver! Casino Royale made up for it though) Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (enjoyed it, but didn't even come close to living up to the previous three films) |
I can't think of a long list right now, but one big one is Yoshi's Story...it wasn't terrible, but it was NOTHING compared to Yoshi's Island.
|
Oh, yeah, Signs is the most disappointment I've had in a movie.
|
The first two Star Wars prequels were really disappointing to me, even considering that I was expecting disappointment. In video games, I think Zelda 2: Adventures of Link was one of the biggest letdowns I've experienced, especially considering how excited I was to get it when I was a kid. Oh well, they made up for it with later games.

Games: Final Fantasy VII
Movies: The first Incredible Hulk movie. After watching it, I wished I'd taken a red hot soldering iron to my eyes so I wouldn't have seen it. Thank god Edward Norton saved the Hulk. |

Also as mentioned before Link 2... what were they thinking? I mean really? This list could get really long. |
