I know it's still Lisnksys, but get a WRT54G. You can use the OpenWRT firmware ot do all sorts of cool stuff with them. It's on sale somewhere this week for $45, I think.

Was it the BEFSWR V4 or something? Mine died after about a year and a half...random lockups, and it would just randomly stop sending data...but still blink.

Except if it is the WRT54G v5. The v5 doesn't run on linux like the older models do.
As far as I can tell, the WRT54GL is the same as the WRT54G but runs linux.

YEAH! That was the one. Same exact problems, too!

I got Linksys again, but this time the swanky 802.11g model. I figured wireless technology has improved over the last few years, and now that Linksys is owned by Cisco, the equipment is probably more stable.

Same thing for me. It has a stupid orange button on the front that does something with the wireless...dunno.

i would suggest a nice prism2 wireless card in a computer with 2 LAN cards and small gentoo install... makes one hell of a wireless router. not only that... but it can also host all your ROMs for use on the xbox.. heh... but you already have another one so uhm... never mind
