What ever happened to 'Content Mangers'?

I have been wondering this for a while now. What happened to some of us becoming Content Mangers? Are they not needed anymore, or what?

Oh, all of you are needed, no doubt. Certainly I could use some help with the news and hack/translation/savestate moderation. And most of the content in ZD needs to be updated as well. I believe that some new content managers will be set up soon, but you'll have to wait little bit since Edman is not around. Reaper man and The 9th Sage are probably preparing something about this matter.

were you a content manager before? I pruned the really long list of managers that seemed to be not doing anything. You can reapply, but only if you actually contribute.
