Turning Game Genie codes into .ips patches

:help: I want to make some specific changes to a hack I am making, and the easiest way I can think of is to convert game genie codes to patches for the game. Is there an easy way of doing this, and if so, how?

No, there is not a bonafide easy way. You need to know how the codes are encoded, the platform it's on, the memory mapping for said platform, etc, but just for shits and giggles, what codes for what game? I may take a crack at it and see if it's even doable. Sounds like a fun project/challenge.
