Rom found in emulator on the site

New member
I just would like to let you know that the GBQ emulator under the "Emulators for the Nintendo GameCube" section has a Zelda: Link's Awakening rom compiled in the dol and bin files. I know it's your policy not to have commercial roms on the site, so I thought I'd let you know.

Also, I have taken the dol file and removed the Zelda rom from it, and created an injector to inject a rom 512kb or less. It has been tested, and it works great. If you would like it, please let me know.

Thank you for an awesome site, keep up the good work. ;)

Well, crap, I had no idea. I've removed the links for now, I think we'd certainly be interested in hosting your version.

The attachment didn't work for some reason. Here's links from my yahoo briefcase, if they will work:

If not, is there somewhere I can e-mail them to?
Edited by kennyk on 01/26/05 10:42 PM.

Glad to hear it worked. Just to let you know, I also updated the readme with some instructions, and notes.

I can't believe you just ruined the free rom, lol.

Yay, three week bump.

First of all, web sites can't have roms, you should know that. And I don't know about you, but I don't want this place to vanish because of something stupid that slipped by.

Technically impossible, we have a file size limit. As if there weren't other problems...
