Sony announced recently that it will be releasing a plethora of new PS3 and PSP models in a few months. The new hardware includes:
  • PS3 w/a 160GB hard drive, along with a copy of Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, a PSN download voucher for PAIN, and a wireless DualShock 3 controller. It will roll out this November, with a MSRP of $499 USD.
  • PSP w/a built-in microphone, an upgraded LCD screen, and various other upgrades. It will be released in two bundles: Premium, which comes with a copy of Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters, a 4GB Memory Stick, an as-of-yet unknown UMD movie, and a PSN download voucher for Echochrome. The "Core" bundle comes with only the PSP. The Premium and Core bundles have a MSRP of $199 and $169 USD, respectively. Expect to see this ship by October.
  • A wireless Bluetooth mini-keyboard, designed to snap onto a DualShock 3 or Sixaxis controller. Its MSRP has not yet been set, but it should hit stores by November.
