Yes, that is a picture of a cowbell, and yes I will be seeing Blue Oyster Cult on stage tonight. It's Naperville, Illinois' Ribfest and it's all of 2 miles from my house. For anyone who might also be in the area and attending tonight, i'll be the drunk jackass playing that cowbell and screaming along like it's my job. Very similar to last year when what's left of Lynard Skynyrd played to an rather repetitious acoustical backdrop consisting of barely intelligible screams for Free Bird. I think Ted Nugent might also be playing tonight...i hope he kills a live animal on stage with a bow and arrow or something equally awesome. And luckily enough, i think admission is still only about $5 or something, although the ribs are still ridiculously expensive. Have a good night, and Don't Fear the Reaper.
