Got a call this morning confirming that a place in town has the UHaul truck we reserved... I'm determined to help as much as I can to make the "biggest move ever" go without a hitch.

Official new house stuff starts around 7:30 tomorrow, when we pick up the keys. UHaul place opens at 9, so we'll be there with bells on, or something.

If I vanish for a few days, my stupid 50lb server tower got jarred and had a few hard drives for lunch or something. That won't happen though. I've moved this damn thing 3 times, and nothing like that has happened.

If you never see me again, we somehow broke the TV that's worth more than most of the stuff in this place, and one or both of us committed suicide ... or homicide. ;D Nah, I'm kidding, but jesus, it sucks to worry about STUFF. I suppose I'd rather worry about that than worry about contracting AIDS or something.

I need to work out so carrying this big shit around isn't so taxing, or something.

Anyway, we made it without a hitch. The only casualty was a soup bowl. :p

We get "real internet" back on Wednesday... so I can stop using my cellphone to update my LJ and other stuff. I'm looking forward to it. Of course, then, my productivity as far as unpacking and setting stuff up will probably be shot, so I guess I should enjoy my 'internet-free' time while I have it, hehe.

Don't worry, I'm quite a reasonable person. If I hate someone, they have definitely earned it. ;)
