Might as well make this semester a fun one

...since it'll hopefully be my last.
I just need a few more credits to graduate, so I figured what the hey, I'll pick some stuff I enjoy. My classes this semester include "Japinese Anime and New Media" and "Special Topics in Computer Science: Building Robots". So yeah, this semester I'll be writing about anime and building and programming Lego robots. For credit.

Seriously.

I have a similar semester. I've already gotten my degree but I still have Govt. financial aid for one last semester, so I decided to take a bunch of stuff I'd never done before.

Sociology
Comparative Religions
Psychology
Philosophy

I was going to take Intro to Psych, but I registered too late and there was already a big waitlist. Sociology was already filled up too. =P

Funny thing was I didn't register for any of these. I just went to the first class without being registered and participated. After class, the instructors where like "you seem really enthusiastic. Sure you can join." Then I got bumped to the top of the queue and could add them online. I had trouble in one class because there were like 6 people on the waitlist, but the instructor thought I was participating alot and would do well, so he overrode them and added me.

Wow, nice going. I don't know if professors have such control over the queue here; I had assumed it was entirely automatic, but now that you mention it, who knows...

Congrats! Are you planning to go to grad school?

In theory, I should be taking my last class ever this semester (though I said that once before two years ago). Dunno what it'll be yet, but it looks like either particle physics or advanced quantum mechanics. Joy!
