Making arcade emulation more fun.

One of the biggest problems with arcade emulation is the fact that the game is cheapened by the fact that you can usually continue indefinitely by pressing the insert coin button, so you' cam never lose really. Try this: get a friend together and each have "ten dollars" when you can spend on a set circuit of arcade games. For instance, have a contest in seeing who can farthest on a circuit of Super Street Fighter 2, Final Fight, Golden Axe, and Mercs, where one game has to beaten before the next one can be played. Whoever gets farther is either a superior human being, or owes the other guy money, with the stipulation that cheaters will be castrated.

A version of Mame that allows you to set up a circuit, or which assigns points based on how many points you get in any game of your choosing (with the points given by mame adjusted for the difficulty of the game) would be cool, but realy time-consuming project.
