Okay, the last two days have sucked big time. Work's been a pain since I'm splittin' time inbetween the Design Dept, and the Pressroom. I'm not goin' back to running a press full-time. Nossir.
Then, when I get here last night, I see a couple of posters making comments about a post someone else made. I don't give a damn what somebody posts about unless it's a malicious personal attack on a regular visitor here, or breakin' the rules. I think the idea of using a post to let off steam is terrific. I do it myself. That's why I'm making this diary entry. Some people need to realize that in this age of "Political Correctness" we've gone way too freaking far. Using the word "challenged" with an adjective is fucking moronic. Being sensitive is not. Making a big fucking deal about how sensitive you are is. Last time I checked, I was in the United States. Being from the U.S. (I know we all aren't), I'm going to keep posting the damned way I want until I'm either banned for being an asshole or caught with a blowtorch in my hand, chasing around some Junior Member who's screaming, "Okay, I'm not 1337 !". If you don't like what somebody posts, fine reply to it fucking once. Ya' ain't gotta read 'em all. If you read a post, and you're smart enough (yeah, this is gonna be tough), maybe you can tell from the tone of the post what kind of emotional state the poster was in when he composed it. We're all human. We all make mistakes. We just need to quit judging others. I try not to, but it's tough sometimes. Read a post carefully before trying to bring out the torch, or even a match. I try, I don't always succeed, but I do try.
Whew. I feel better now.
Remind me to send GamerX a christmas card.
