This hack is going to be a side project. Crash 'N The Boyz - Street Challenge is the name of the original game. It features crazy track&field games and is a pretty bad ass game.

Here's the catch, I'm only going to do a sprite edit/text hack of the game.

Here's where you come in. If you're a ROM hacker (NES only) then you can be in the game! I'm going to make a list of the teams and you can choose which team you want to be on. First come, first serve. If a team is full, then you can't be on that team.

Here's a list of the teams and who's on them.

All-Stars

1. Kabucho
2. Tzar

All-Pros

1. Lenophis
2. Napkin
3. ?
4. ?

Thrashers

1. Gil_
2. Dan

Elite - Non-playable Team

Just post which team you want to be on. I'll think of team names later.

I wouldn't mind being in on this if you need more people..if you use me, please use my old name of ZeldaDD. :) You can put me on any team, like maybe the non-playables if you want.

Been a while since I've played Crash n the Boys, but I don't think the spaces for names are that long.

I assume you have 8 tiles to work with. Of course, if you want you can just use DKK, that might be the better solution come to think of it.

Well... if I remember correctly, there are 2-3 tiles to work with the name. DKK will work for me ^_^

Either as "Gideon", "Gideon Zhi", or "Lakmir." Preferrably one of the former :)
