I would not consider that a flame aimed at ANYONE in particular. I responed to your post because it was the most condusive to getting my point across. It's a statement made to the GENERAL poplulation of these message boards, and in particular, those who use this "diary" board.

And appreciation? I'm sure Danoz doesn't appreciate people judging his character over one little wise-crack. This is criticism, I offer it freely. Same with defending the one truly great person I've met on the internet.

This is not something to joke about,

because you or others have witnessed someone kill himself for a stupid reason still doesnt give you the right to make fun of suicidal people..

there are also people who dont seek attention,
who's life have been destroyed until the point of no-return..
they dont talk about it..
they commit suicide to stop the neverending pain that is their life..

You made this joke because you saw people trying to kill themselfs for what you think is a stupid reason..

I wish you could trade your life with someone who feels that way..
that you are the one who wakes up in pain everyday..
scared, sad, filled with hate..
And then you will read jokes like the one you just made,
a joke made by a person who doesnt even know what its like to feel suicidal..

Yes i too have mixed emotions when i read people talk about suicide for what i think is a stupid reason..
but i dont spit it in their face..

How do you know they are even suicidal? Did you forget that this is a message board? People who talk about it could be very well sitting on the other side laughing thier asses off as people pour thier hearts into replies.

I never made light of suicide itself, suicide as a reality is selfish. Why can't you see that? The pain over a loss of a boyfriend/girlfriend can be DELT with, the pain over getting held back can be DELT with, bitching about it isn't a good thing. 99% percent of "suicidal" people are searching for attention. And if you are going through that kind of pain... seek help, not temperary freedom on a message board. If you are close to that person, GET them help... don't think that talking to them while the situation gets worse and worse is going to make things better. It won't. I KNOW.

Who cares if I haven't been suicidal myself? Thank God. But the one regret I do have is not telling that person what the fuck he did to me, and the people who cared about him, to his mother.... and HOW FUCKING STUPID IT WAS. Sometimes you can sense it, sometimes you can't. When you can, get that person help... because you can't help them. Don't think your doing them a favor by not telling anybody.

So what. I made jokes to forget about it, to even "make light of it" if you will. MY Friend DID commit suicide, and I'll never forgive him for it... no matter how hard I could try. And I hate getting serious on a message board, but don't question my morals or my respect. And don't just be a listener. I was listener, and if I would have said something he wouldn't be dead.
