I recently purchased a Mark 1 Sega Mega CD.
It doesn't appear to work. Before I send it back, I'd like to know if I can repair it.
Here is what I do:
Sit it on the cabinet, slide the grounding plate into it, and slide the Sega MegaDrive 2 into it.
I hook up the MegaDrive 2 to the TV.
I hook up the plug for it to the mains (there are three slots two that require leads that need to be plugged into the TV, one that is marked 'Mixer', but no leads came with the Mega CD).
I switch on the MegaDrive, all the plugs are turned on, but no light appears.
Am I doing something wrong, or is it broken?
If it's broken, are there any decent repair guides?
