So much for the remaining 20% of unflooded New Orleans. To sum up:

- Efforts to sandbag the levee breaches have failed.
- Water levels expected to rise 9 more feet in 12-15 hours.
- All residents remaining in the east bank of orleans and jefferson in the metro area are ordered to evacuate.
- Pumps in the above area are expected to fail soon
- Residents allowed back in in one week, only with identification, to get essentials and clothing only. They must then leave for at least one month.

Thanks guys, way to make a horrifyingly bad situation all the more worse. Although really I can't say I'm suprised.

I donated approx. 10% of my bank account ($500) when the massive earthquake/tsunami hit Asia last year, and I again just donated 10% of my bank account ($200, slowly getting broke) to the hurricane Katrina relief fund. They need my money much more than I do right now.
