Hmm... I'm a bit ticked off...

I would've liked to be of some help getting the site back up to speed, but after the first e-mail telling me to send my forum username, I heard nothing. I'm assuming that's pretty much what happened with everybody else. I usually would continue enjoying summer as usual, but now I have to go for two weeks, at the very least, on a family camping trip. While it'll be a blast, I'm sure, there's the downside that by the time I get back, there'll be very little left to do, and more likely than not the areas I signed on to help with will be completely up-to-date, leaving me out in the cold.

Oh well. Have a nice holiday weekend, for those of you living here in the U.S.
 
Yeah, I didn't get a reply either, and I sent a PM, and he was on later that day. It kinda dissapoints me. Ah well, have a good trip dude.
 
What the ? Your pal, Edguy, must have a lot of work right now. And after working on the forum, it's nice to "get off" the computer a little. You should learn something called patience.
 
Yeah, I'm sure that is it. Awhile back I messaged him because I needed help resetting my password (it was linked to an old e-mail account I can't get into anymore). He responded, so I'm sure he's around just busy.
 
I've now gotten back to everyone who sent me an email. Yes, it took me a few days to get to it, but that's because I realized that I had to change around a few things as far as site updating goes to make it less of a pain in the arse.

I too was wondering if I'd ever get an reply on my application, but I got it in my mail yesterday. Since I was tired and wanted to sleep I didn't bother till today, but now I'm here.

Have a beer, let's party. ^_^

yeah he had to do the same for ine as well and he did it with no issue, which was nice and painless.

Hmm... Well, I don't know if it was worth losing a "content manager" position, but throughout the trip I sliced open my foot, had my knee skin pretty much torn off, burned my arm and finger, and swam through a "gorgeous fishing lake" filled with dead minnows. Fun, indeed.

So, basically, if I see any outdated emulators and such, I have to put a topic for each one in the "Submit Emulation News" forum? Sounds like a bit of a hassle, but I'll see what I can dig up in the morning; I always do my part to help out. In the meantime, though, it's 2:30 AM, so I'm gonna get some rest.

shame nobody could do a digg/reddit-type submission system, meaning ricockulously easy for submitters to add posts, and moderators merely flag the stories for front page viewing.
