This is my first game purchase since San Andreas. I must say, this game is really cool and insanely hard. It's not that much harder so far (I mean, I've only been able to get to level 4 after an hour or so of gameplay). You can do different things with your Options in this game too. If you like arcade shooters, get this game, it's only 30 bucks right now :eek:

If you like that, try R-Type Final. Absolute blast in the same genre.

I've played Super R-Type, but that was it. I missed Final and Delta :eek: I'm a sucker for arcade shooters of any sort. Old school all the way.

In case you aren't aware, Super R-Type is just essentially a revamped R-Type 2 to my knowledge. So then there's also R-Type (obviously, since it was the original... and available just about everywhere), R-Type 3: The 3rd Lightning (recently ported to GBA, but from what I've seen of it, I definitely prefer the SNES version), and the Arcade-only (as far as I am aware) R-Type Leo... <img src=smilies/thumb.gif>
