When we have a solid system that looks good and functions correctly, then I approve.

It looks like this is heading in that direction. If I can test it and it actually works, we'll throw it on the zd server and give appropriate people access.

Understandable. That's partly why I'm trying to do this in a more low-key manner than last time.

I see some setbacks. Olate is just a downloads script.
You would need a CMS that would integrate well with it, so that you would be able to post news. I think.

A news script could be integrated; but I do ask, why? The vast majority of the 'news' on ZD links to updated pages and downloads. *shrug*

Eh... maybe a 'Site updates' section on top of the 'New downloads' or something.
