That's a Strategy Game, heh. Nitpicking though, I know. :P

What about that game Vay? I heard that was pretty good, but I haven't been able to track down a used copy of it to try it myself.

Minor nit-picking, but as those are all indeed RPGs of one type or another, as far as I am aware none of them are really similar to Popful Mail, which actually holds more in common with an action/adenture/platforming type of game than a "true" RPG like some of those mentioned...

Yeah, more of what I'm looking for is the action/adventure/platforming type game for the Sega CD, but I wouldn't expect much more than that from the software library for that platform.

How about other platforms, anything games similar to the Rpg/action/adventure/platform idea that Popful Mail offered?

Zelda II Adventures of Link, Nes
Ys 3 Wanderers from Ys, Nes/Snes/Msx/ect.
Castlevania II Simons Quest, Nes
The Battle of Olympus, Nes
Actraiser, Snes
Hameln no Violin Hiki, Snes(though no leveling)
Super Ninja Boy, Snes(odd combo of platforming and RPG battles)
Briganty Roots of Darkeness, Pc-98/Win
Castlevania Symphony of the Night, Ps
Castlevania Circle of the Moon, Gba
Castlevania Harmony of Dissonance, Gba
Castlevania Aria of Sorrow, Gba
(Then you might count every Metroid thought that's harder)

YES! Y's 3 (SNES) is an awsomely addicting game. Challenging too I might add. <img src=smilies/magbiggrin.gif>
