Hello, All!

This week, I have released the new fMSX for Windows, Linux, and Android.
I have also updated ColEm for Android.

Starting November 1, Google requires all apps to target Android10+,
where access to files is completely disabled. Apps are supposed to
access files as "content", using a convoluted "solution" known as
"Secure Access Framework".

Thus, I had to make major changes to fMSX and ColEm in order to comply
with the new regulations. If you have a newer Android10+ device, the
will show you the list of storage volumes in the File Selector. Once you
click on a volume, the app may ask you for permission to access it.
Otherwise, things should work the same as before. If you find any new
problems with the app though, please, report them to the support group
or email me directly.

ColEm 5.5 -- ColecoVision and Coleco Adam Emulator for Android
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.fms.colem
* Refactored app to comply with Google's latest ban on file I/O.
* On Android 10+, all file access is now done via content providers.
* Content is copied to a temporary folder for use, changes moved back on exit.
* You may have to give app separate permission to read each storage location.

fMSX 5.9 -- MSX, MSX2, MSX2+ Hone Computer Emulator for Windows/Linux
http://fms.komkon.org/fMSX/
* Added simple CPU-based linear scaling algorithm.
* Added "-linear" command line option.
* Added drag'n'drop files functionality to fMSX-Windows.
* Fixed fMSX-Windows loading disk and tape files on click.

fMSX 5.9 -- MSX, MSX2, MSX2+ Home Computer Emulator for Android
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.fms.fmsx
* Refactored app to comply with Google's latest ban on file I/O.
* On Android 10+, all file access is now done via content providers.
* Content is copied to a temporary folder for use, changes moved back on exit.
* You may have to give app separate permission to read each storage location.

Best regards,
Marat Fayzullin
