ZXGP32 Beta 1
posted in Emulator Release by narvick on Apr 5th, 2003David Douglas has released a new Spectrum emulator for GP32 simply named ZXGP32. This is the first release, so here's a run down of ZXGP32's features:
- Emulates both 128k and 48k Spectrum
- CPU emulated 95%, almost all of the documented opcodes are emulated but there are just so many undocumented ones to get around to!
- Nicked the idea from Frodo to have a pop-up keyboard. Ability to assign the 'B' button to a certain key. Can toggle caps and symbol shift
- Control Pad and Button A emulates Kempston input for joysticks
- Full color screen, including emulation of both Bright and Flash
- Sound is experimental. I would NOT suggest turning it on as it is not pretty and tends to bum out after awhile
- Supprts file types SNA, Z80 and TAP
