VisualMSX v1.6
posted in Frontend News by narvick on Jun 30th, 2003A new version of Ciro's frontend for NLMSX has been updated. Here's what's new:
- Fixes
- Games lists were not loaded correctly! Example: The game "King's Valley II" exists on both "MSX" and "MSX 2" versions, and only one of them was being added/loaded to the list. Other games that are in the same situation were being lost
- Game filter popup menus were not being correctly checked when starting the frontend
- Due to the games list bug, I had to separate the games lists files once again so, now there are four .ini files... again (inside "games" folder): "msx.ini", "msx2.ini", "msx2plus.ini" and "msxturbo-r.ini". The format didn't change though. I think there's no need for further explanation
- Screenshots folder are changed for compatibility reason. Just rename your folders.
- Missing and invalid pictures filenames
- Not added games filename
- Redundant memory variables (not used or not necessary)
- CPU frequency load/save routines
- A bunch of internal routines
- Cassette tape folders
- Tapes are now 100% supported on the frontend :)
- The last selected game is now restored when restarting the frontend
