SNES9x and XMame ported to the GameCube

posted in Emulator Release by The_Ninth_Sage on Nov 18th, 2004

Yes it's true! We now have SNES9x and XMame for the GameCube! The SNES9x release is based off of version 1.43, and Xmame is based off of the current version of Xmame. XmameGX is released as source only, but SNES9xGx is a binary as well as source. Both require GC-Linux, the GameCube port of Linux, to run. Both emulators can be obtained on our Emulators for the GameCube page, and more details on GC-Linux can be found here. Thanks go to Roman for this interesting news.
