Nessie, a relatively new and excellent NES emulator for Windows, has been updated recently! Here is what's new:

Fixed an input bug which caused some devices not to work at all. Thanks to Ted for debugging help.
Fixed so that save data no longer is written to disk if it has been zeroed out. Thanks to fourdegrees for reporting.
Fixed iNES routine so that it recognizes carts with battery-backed RAM.
Invalid paths are now deleted from the "Recent" list when selected.
Minor interface adjustments (Double click on menu bar to return to windowed mode, hide cursor in fullscreen mode)
Fixed sprite DMA (Raid 2020, Sachen games)
Fixed DMC DMA - many games with sampled sound had distorted gfx (Kick master, Super Mario 3, Monster in my pocket)
Fixed MMC3 IRQs - some games locked up before (Kick master, Shougi Meikan) Thanks to Hung for reporting.
Fixed MMC3 PROM settings (Bugs Bunny Birtday Bash (Prototype))
Tweaked MMC3 IRQ counter. Major improvement for many MMC3 games.
