MESS 0.95
posted in Emulator Release by hcs on Mar 29th, 2005MESS, which emulates a whole boatload of systems, was updated a few days ago to version 0.95. New in this version:

- APPLE 1
- Removed extraneous and obsolete RAM size DIP switches.
- Implemented a proper reset key.
- Implemented additional RAM size options.

- Now uses the IWM chip.
- APPLE 2 GS
- Implemented Ensoniq ES5503 sound system.
- C64
- Fixed a regression intorduced in 0.92 that prevented the first floppy drive from working properly.
- MSX
- Fixed a sound regression introduced in the 0.93 MAME core update.
- TELMAC
- Fixed a crash regression introduced in the 0.93 MAME core update.
- TI990_10
- Fixed a crash regression introduced in the 0.93 MAME core update.
- APPLE 1
- User Interface Changes
- Fixed a bug that caused the image info screen to not work properly with multiple images of the same device type.
- Windows GUI
- Fixed a bug that could caused file filters to contain garbled text.
- Fixed a bug that could cause trailing '|' characters in the device view.
- Fixed a bug that could cause the GUI to internally lose track of which images are selected.
- Source Changes
- The core is based on MAME 0.95. This incorporates all features of the update to this core.
- Fixed tinymess build.
