Hack4u, a SRAM editor for Ultima: Quest of the Avatar on the NES released
posted in Utility Release by The_Ninth_Sage on Dec 1st, 2004John Ratliff writes: I have released a save state editor for Ultima: Quest of the Avatar for NES. It works on SRAM files rather than emulator dependent save states, so it should work with any NES emulator that supports saves, which nearly all do (all the useful ones anyways). I have been testing with FCEU, since that is what I use. It's still in beta, but it's very close to being perfect. The only things left to do are polishing the interface to protect users from their own stupidity. The program can edit SRAM saves and almost any value right now. Written in C++ using wxWidgets, it should work under Windows, Linux, Mac OS-X, and any Unix that supports the gnome toolkit (GTK). I've only tested it under Windows though. --John Ratliff emuWorks This utility is available on our Nintendo Cheating Utilities page.
