GEX, a GameBoy/Color emulator for Windows, was updated. Sound seems to have been much improved in this release, but here's the whole story:

Sprite drawing: BG-to-OAM Priority updated again
Timing improvements
Better sound system (channels 1 and 2 are now fully supported
Sound channel disabling
Menu bug fixed
