GenRomSuite v2.1.0
posted in Frontend News by narvick on Feb 5th, 2004Tom Maneiro has released another update for his excellent frontend suite for Genesis. It is now compatible with Windows 95 as well. Full list of changes:
- [Launcher]: Added support for launch ROMs on Kega! Instead of use commandline, it receives "keystrokes" by an internal VB function (SendKeys)
- [Launcher]: Fixed a minor bug in setup window: if user exectued launcher by first time, and cancel window without doing any chanes, launcher executed with no enabled buttons. Now user will not see launcher if no emulator paths are defined
- [Lang Support]: Removed a Windows 95 unsupported API (SendInput). Now, for first time users, language window automatically selects first language in the list using inernal VB functions. This should make GenRomSuite a Win95 100% compatible application (because old API is not present in Win95, ant therefore application exited with an error)
- [IPS Patcher]: Fixed controls tab order
- [General]: Internal code cleanup, again...
- [General]:More tiny GUI fixes
