Dualis Release 2
posted in Emulator Release by hcs on Mar 8th, 2005Dualis is the first publicly available Nintendo DS emulator that actually attempts to emulate the DS hardware. It can run a good number of the demos available quite well. Before you ask, no, it can't run commercial games, nor is it supposed to. This is the second release, since Release 1 the following changes were made:
- GPU:
- Fixed transparency for bottom-most 16-color BGs
- Fixed tile flipping for 16-color BGs
- Fixed tile flipping for alpha-blended 256-color BGs
- Fixed alpha-blending for BGs with transparent pixels
- FPS limiter toggling now works
- Made the OpenGL texture format selectable
- GUI:
- Added keyboard shortcuts for Run, Pause and Reset
- The client area of the video output window should now be properly sized even for people with non-standard Windows themes
