Chip8 Emulator Initial Release

posted in Emulator Release by narvick on Feb 21st, 2004

Sizer (aka The Player of Doom) has informed us of a new Chip8 emulator for Windows that he's created. This is not to be confused with the Chip8 emulator of the same name by Dave Winter. It's in early stages with these features:
  • Requires DirectX 9 or later
  • Unfortunately, has rather low compatibility for now
  • Fullscreen mode
  • Comes bundled with a PD ROM, Pong, which it emulates perfectly
  • Has an internal hack for Pong, enabling it to run better than on most emulators
Try it out at the Chip8 Emulators page
