Arnold v1.6.1 for Mac
posted in Emulator Release by spacetiger on Jul 8th, 2003One of four new releases by Richard Bannister today, the Amstrad CPC emulator for Mac, Arnold, has been updated today. Here's what's new:
- Added joystick/gamepad support on OS X (Note that this requires a copy of Blitter Library)
- Printer emulation now works correctly
- Numerous bug fixes to the CPC Plus hardware emulation and Fluff is now playable
- Fixed a few issues with the Macintosh keyboard layout
- Added the ability to turn off the keyboard-based Joystick emulation
- Added the ability to read gzip-compressed files (Disk images, etc)
- Replaced about box with new one
- Removed "type okay" dialog box
- Reduced CPU usage substantially on OS X
