AdvanceMAME and AdvanceMESS v0.83.0
posted in Emulator Release by spacetiger on Jun 14th, 2004The author of AdvanceMAME (and other similar projects), Andrea Mazzoleni, has informed us of an update to two of her emulators. The changes to AdvanceMAME (which follow) are applicable to AdvanceMESS as well:
- Added the option "ui_speedmark" to enable or disable the onscreen speed red mark
- Fixed the option "sync_startuptime 0"
- Added volume control at the `oss' audio driver
- Added support for the `mprotect' os call to allow execution of MIPS DRC also on systems with memory protected from execution
- Fixed the use of fgetc_unlocked() on Mac OS X 10.3
- Upgraded the DOS/Windows SVGALIB drivers at version 1.9.19
