64th Note v0.09

posted in Utility Release by hcs on Apr 19th, 2005

64th Note is a USF plugin for Winamp, meaning it allows you to play music ripped from N64 games. A new version which is quite a bit more stable, v0.09, has just been released. What's new:
  • Fixed uninitialized STATUS reg (PJ64 save state bug). This fixes the problem where playing certain tracks in order would freeze, for example Pilotwings after Perfect Dark.
  • Cleaned up RSP setup/teardown.
  • Fixed a minor, unimportant registry bug.
  • Removed a lot of useless error messages and rephrased the important ones ("what's in code?" now actually tells you you're using an old USF, "seeking backwards not supported" is removed, etc.)
This version has been in beta testing for a while and has not been known to crash, if you succeed in breaking it please notify the author.
