Accurate NeoGeo sound emulation?

Okay, I just noticed that NeoJuke and Winkawaks actually sound considerable different, and sadly, I don't have any AES in my hands to compare by myself, so can anyone tell me which one reproduces the sound more accurate to the real thing?

My guess is winkawaks, since some samples don't get ditched when replayed (play Kof 97 - Bali Arena to see what i mean), but I want to be sure.

Why don't you try M1 instead? Don't forget Bridge M1, the most popular frontend for M1.

The YMxxxx (YM2151, YM2610, YM2612, YM3812, YM3834, YM2203, et al) cores in M1 are the same ones used in MAME, which happen to be accurate to the point that their output exactly matches the output of a real chip if you hooked it up to a scope.

Oh, well, I never heard of it before, so I downloaded it. Sound emulation seems pretty close to Kawaks (it's likely they both sound the same, but I don't want to throw conclusions yet), so i take that Neojuke is less accurate than those both. Unfortunately, it can't read all my romsets, so I am still going to need Kawaks for some few stuff.

Btw, Kawaks emulates as precise as mame does, right? If so, then Moogle's comment makes me happy :P
