Default what exactly is wrong??

This is really baffling me. I am not a very social person and I have few friends. In my four years of college I have exactly three friends and we have had some great times together.

But of late things just haven’t been the same. We don’t bother to keep in touch, have nothing to say to each other and when I do call up I soon regret it. We have all changed a little over time and I am carrying a load of worries with me right now but that happens so what has changed so much.

We only have a couple of months before we graduate and god knows when we’ll see each other next; I want to take home a happy parting and not this.

If I could only figure out what’s wrong……..

Nothing wrong at all, I have very few close friends in real life and rarely visit them, I think your just an introvert for the most part and that is perfectly normal unless it causes you not to be able to function at all like at work, don't worry about it.

Hey - you're gonna take home a degree. That's good enough. Go get a job and make some friends.

Moving on is a part of life, and sometimes a good part at that.

Don't worry.

dont live in the past or worry too much

people move on after college, some may keep in contact but others might not, after all others get married/have kids and start working the 40hr+ work week hum drum stuff

this isnt the end, you can find other things to get involved in after college and meet new people also

Well, sad as it is, what you're experiencing is quite normal. Most people don't have an ideal parting farewell on good terms... They just sort of, well, drift apart.

Friends come and go, and I'm sure there'll come a day when many of us here will have to say goodbye in a similar manner.

I also agree with puduhead, people do change over time, and sometimes it splits people apart or brings them together. I'm not a very social person neither, and I had friends a few years back that I never thought I'd lose touch with; now I don't talk to them anymore, and I don't even know where some of them live... but I've moved on, and I've made other friends that I'm closer to now than my old ones.

I always make sure to keep the good memories of my old friends around, while forgetting about some of the not-so-good ones. The memories of the good times is what you should take with you into the next chapter of your life, not the problems that are happening now. As long as you don't forget the good stuff, your friends will never really be gone.
