Looking at a 2000 Camaro

I spent an hour yesterday looking at and test driving a http://images.cardomain.com/member_i...008_2_full.jpg2000 Camaro</a>. Sweet, sweet car, but there were front end problems, and it felt like the power steering was just about ready to go out. That was the only thing that prevented me from making the deal, and the salesman frantically repeated, "We'll get it fixed, and we'll give you a call."

So...maybe I'll get lucky, and they'll actually follow through and fix those things, because it's a hella sweet car.

Looks like a pretty nice car. What're the specs on it?

If that is he car, as pictured, than it's an SS. Make them fix it to perfection and take it.

the SS around that year had a little over 300 Horsepower and ran 13 seconds in the quarter mile...stock.

The car was probably in an accident. If you are serious about buying the car, take it to a good machanic before you buy it and have him go over the car with a fine-tooth comb. Being a car of a sporty nature, it's probably been abused, so spending 40-60 or more bucks to have it looked over would be a wise investment.
